Wrapped in the loving arms of Jesus, our cherished, respected and dearly loved father, Ross F. Pisano (age 91), was taken on angel wings to his heavenly home on Monday, February 16, 2026. He was born on May 3, 1934, in Coraopolis to the late Gaetano and Geriminia (Rao) Pisano. He is survived by a brother Patrick (Patricia) Pisano of Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Boguszewski of Hopewell Township. Father of Michele Pisano and the late Michael R. Pisano. He is also survived by daughter Tracey White; granddaughters Sydney (Jim) Alves and Madison White from San Francisco, California; daughter Amy (David) Gallagher of Kennedy Township. Beloved and Proud grandfather to Brian (Moriah) Bialowas, Daniel (Ashley) Bialowas, Emilee, Brooke and David Gallagher. Great grandfather to Erin, Jacob, and Corrina Bialowas, Mason, Ethan and Liam Bialowas, Axel and Isla Alves. He is also survived by partner, Lillian Brandimarti.
Ross was a people-person with the good of his community and its children always foremost in his mind. He served for many years on the Cornell School Board and had even held the President seat at least once. He was often seen wandering the halls at the school talking with students and teachers. He chaperoned many proms, dances and even went on the sixth-grade field trip to Washington DC with his grandsons. He was a long-time member of the Coraopolis Wolves Club, serving as the National President for several years. Ross was very involved in raising funds for student scholarships for future education for their betterment. He was a wizard with numbers and worked as a credit manager for Westinghouse and Crucible Steel.
Visitation Thursday (2-19) from 2-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday (2-20) at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers and because of his longtime membership with the Wolves Club, the family suggests donations in his name to the Wolves Club Scholarship Fund.
